Firewood price increase
Our prices for firewood delivered direct to customers have not increased for 3 years. So from 1st June as a bit of a catch up the price of a cubic metre of seasoned hardwood will be increased to £120 including delivery. This is still a competitive price, and reflects the fact that our own costs have increased significantly in recent years. At the same time we are offering value alternatives: partially seasoned (35%) hardwood firewood, and seasoned larch firewood. The full pricing structure from 1st June will be as follows, with current prices in brackets:
1m3 | 2m3 | |
Hardwood seasoned | £120 (£100) | £220 (£190) |
Hardwood partially seasoned | £105 (£80) | £200 (£150) |
Larch seasoned | £95 (£80) | £180 (£150) |
We will also be starting to sell mixed seasoned softwood for £85 per cube (£165 for two), from 1st June.
If you have the storage space, you are welcome to buy ahead at the old prices now!
