By buying TreeStation products, you are supporting a local and genuinely ethical project. We trust that the following reasons, combined with the testimonials of satisfied customers, will encourage you to choose the TreeStation as your supplier.
Quality
Our carefully selected feedstock is handled by our skilled and trained staff, using only well-maintained and fit-for-purpose specialist equipment. We also have a strict policy of not allowing waste wood or non-virgin wood on our site, to avoid any contamination.
Competitive rates
Because we don’t buy most of our timber and we are a not-for-profit organisation, we are able to offer competitive prices. Additionally, the integrated operations of the TreeStation allow us to use our own resources for extraction, haulage and delivery, further reducing costs.
Ethics
We are strongly committed to our ethical values. They are the reason we are in business, and we stick to them in practice, from our day-to-day operations to our choice of bank and energy provider. We are a not-for-profit co-operative (BenCom), and believe we can make a difference to the local community and global environment by successfully running the TreeStation.
Environmental sourcing policy
Our sourcing policy really sets us apart, as our aim is to make beneficial use of arisings that would otherwise likely not be used in an environmentally efficient manner. This helps reduce the demand for imported and unsustainably sourced wood. We want each piece of timber to be used to its best potential, and we do it!
Flexible
We offer bespoke solutions to meet the needs of our customers, in terms of products specifications and delivery options. We also offer rapid response and personalised advice.
Professionalism
Our skilled and reliable team works to high professional standards, and undertakes each stage of our process with our customers’ satisfaction in mind. We are approachable and happy to discuss any concern, question or comment you may have.
Customer service
The TreeStation is a Society for the Benefit of the Community, and as such is owned and controlled by its members. Since many of its customers are also members (we encourage it!), it’s fair to say that our focus on customer service literally goes to the very heart of the business. No matter how big or small, whether member or non-member, we encourage all of our customers to communicate potential concerns or comments directly to us. We have systems in place to ensure that concerns or complaints are dealt with honestly and quickly, and that positive feedback can be passed on to those who have generated it. We strive for customer service excellence at all times.
We are an event and festival company delivering wood related creative workshops to schools, community groups and festivals. To cover the wide variety of activities we offer to our clients, we use kiln dried wood, coppice wood, green wood, air dried wood, planked timber, and timber in the round supplied by the TreeStation.
