Our highly experienced and technically skilled team carries out complex tree pruning, felling, and dismantling work for a wide range of commercial clients, such as charities, local authorities, and housing associations across the North West. As standard, we run a fleet of 25m truck and track-mounted MEWPs to ensure compliance with work at height regulations, and have a large pool of other mechanical solutions to ensure the most efficient completion of tasks safely and on time. We’re fully qualified and insured, with full traffic management capability for roadside and highways projects. Our work is carried out to BS 3998 standards as required, and we’re an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor (since 2014) as well as SSIP and Trustmark accredited — giving you confidence in the quality and safety of every job, whatever the scale.
Whether it’s a single specimen tree or a larger planting scheme, our team can plant, stake and establish new trees to give them the best possible start. We advise on species selection, planting method and aftercare, and can also relocate established trees where required.

We design and install features that give local wildlife somewhere to thrive, from bird and bat boxes to bespoke habitat structures like hollows carved into living trees to provide years of habitiat for targeted species. Working alongside our woodland management and vegetation clearance work, we look for opportunities to leave a site better for nature than we found it: retaining deadwood habitat, creating log piles, or installing purpose-built features such as swift towers.

We use our fleet of MEWPs (cherry pickers) to remove overgrown vines and climbing plants from buildings and structures, particularly where growth has started to cause damage to roofs, gutters, brickwork and other fabric. We work carefully to strip back the growth without harming the structure beneath, leaving the building clear and ready for inspection and repair if necessary.
For larger-scale or time-critical projects, TreeStation deploys a range of mechanised solutions to complete work safely and efficiently. Our equipment includes various types of grapple saws mounted on cranes of different sizes, a fleet of forestry excavators fitted with grapple saws or tree shears in a range of sizes, and a 26t timber truck and 32t hook loader for efficient removal of arisings. Whatever the scale of the contract, our technically skilled team selects the right equipment for the job, reducing programme time without compromising on quality or safety.
We carry out treework on and around the highway in full compliance with relevant regulations, including Chapter 8-compliant traffic management. Working closely with local authorities and National Highways, we plan and deliver each job to minimise disruption to road users and pedestrians, keeping the public safe while getting the work done efficiently and to a high standard.
For traffic-sensitive sites where daytime working isn’t practical, we carry out treework at night to minimise disruption to road users. Fully compliant with traffic management and highway regulations, and with specialist resources to carry out work at night with minimal noise disturbance to local residents, our team delivers the same high standard of safety and quality after dark as we do during the day.
