TreeStation takes the health and safety of its employees, the general public and all other persons who may be affected by its operations very seriously. At the end of the day, we want everyone to go home safe, and the property around us to remain undamaged. We realise that treework and wood processing are potentially hazardous industries, and we are genuine in our quest to identify, minimise, and where possible eliminate hazards. Every job is carefully planned and works documentation is produced, providing our teams with Site Specific Risk Assessments and Method Statements. This is as recommended by BS 3998:2010, and in line with:
We also pay a great deal of attention to our work procedures in the yard, to minimise safety risks and occupational health hazards. Wherever possible, we tailor the work around our workers’ physical needs and limitations. For more details, you can consult our Health and Safety Policy.
But don’t just take our word for it… TreeStation has been an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor since 2014, and is Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) approved. Both provide independent assessments of contractors’ health and safety standards, demonstrating our competency in this area and ensuring we stay up to date with current legislation, requirements and best practice.
All our members of staff are appropriately trained and hold the relevant qualifications for the jobs they perform.
And for complete peace of mind, in the unlikely event that something were to go wrong, we are comprehensively insured, holding £10M Public and Employers Liability insurances.
