Testimonials

Second time I've used TS to trim our conifers. They did a fantastic job and were really friendly. Will definitely use again

Absolutely amazed at the quality of work the lads did today. I can't thank you enough. Not only did you make my nightmare tree look easy to chop you left my garden so clean you would have never known you were there today. Thank you for working so hard and fast. 100% recommends this company 10/10

Excellent job, very tidy. Couldn’t finish trimming a row of trees in Spring as there was a bird's nest with chicks in one of them. Agreed to come back in Autumn to complete the job. They contacted me, and finished promptly.

Bought woodshed, loose wood and stacking service. Quality products, excellent value. Professional communication, delivered no fuss at time promised. Highly recommend.

I’ve been using TreeStation for several years for their firewood and timber. They’ve always provided a good & friendly service. The firewood is good quality & the timber (I use the Larch sleepers) for garden projects is really good stuff . I recommend.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to all your team for doing such an excellent job. We're very happy with the work done.

These guys turned up promptly within the time frame they had promised. They got straight to work, their health and safety ethic was nothing short of astounding. Very speedy, very efficient tree and stump removal, and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. I am more than impressed and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat, thanks TreeStation. If I could leave 10 stars I would ???????????

Booking the job was quick and efficient. A quote was done within the week and the work carried out the following week.

Excellent service from TreeStation. Arrived on time, carefully cut/reduced trees as required. Also had stumps ground out. Highly recommended.

The team did an excellent job, so efficient and meticulous. They also cleaned up really thoroughly. Would highly recommend. Very professional service.

I will highly recommend TreeStation, everyone today was brilliant, explained everything, looked over what needed doing, checked it with me and I felt fully informed and involved and then left to get on with my work while they got on with the job. Polite, friendly, and professional. And cleared everything away so the garden and drive were left spotless. Even explained that the wet patches on the drive were water and not oil, so not to worry. Fantastic!

It is so great getting my firewood from TreeStation. They are very flexible with delivery, and carefully leave the wood in the most convenient place. I'm really pleased that they have been able to sell me green wood un-split because I enjoy axing it up myself. I'm also reassured that I am sourcing my firewood from an ethical company.

I was really pleased with the professionalism of your team, their commitment to safety and consideration of traffic, passers by and my trees! They did a great job of cleaning up too. Exactly as promised. Would definitely recommend your services & will use you again.

Bought the Loose Eco Kiln Dried Hardwood. Very happy with the amount, so much more than I’ve had from other suppliers who just deliver a “builders sack” full. Burns really well and the small pieces make excellent kindling! Happy to pay a delivery charge for a prompt and efficient service. My local log suppliers have let me down twice and i’ll be back for more from you guys. 10/10!

Delivery of loose logs arranged at a time to suit; arrived as promised. Quality seems fine and they are clearly very dry.

Found Ian very helpful, willing to show me different types of timber, will be returning for more timber when I have finished my project, many thanks

Perfect service, incredibly friendly bunch, Ian is brilliant. Loves to chat and wants to show you his workshop every time (all us wood workers do) thanks!

They have done a superb job & haven't left any mess at all. We are delighted.. just wanted to pass on how wonderfully professional & friendly the team were.

Please can you thank the guys who came yesterday, well thank you to all at TreeStation. It's a beautiful job & they were lovely guys.

The guys have worked really hard today & with an impressive result. I have daylight in my house!! Thanks for everything.

I was so pleased with the service from TreeStation and want you to share the following with the workforce: Reliable, friendly, helpful and did an amazingly professional job which has been commented on by all my friends! I will definitely pass on details with a very high recommendation. Thanks!

Sorry I wasn't there to say this to the team in person, but they've done a great job so  thank you very much!

Thank you very much for the efficient way in which the tree was removed. It was also much appreciated for the pleasant and professional manner in which your colleagues behaved.

The service provided by TreeStation is superb! Expert advice at the quote visit, excellent and conscientious tree work and efficient communication from Hannah. I was most impressed with the tidy, thorough and safe practices when working at 25+ metres. An excellent company!

Fantastic job pruning overgrown tree in our garden - just as I'd asked for, very professional, arrived on time, very neat job and took everything away.

Very professional service, from the initial contact to the actual removal of a rather large conifer tree. The men were clean, tidy and extremely quick.

The job was completed to a high standard and the tree surgeons were very courteous. The garden was left neat and tidy.

Just want to say thank you for all the hard work the two TreeStation guys have done in our garden. They worked so hard all day, they were polite and friendly and their knowledge and information of trees was amazing. They worked with passion and precision and with a true love for insect and wildlife. Absolutely brilliant day with these guys, can't praise them high enough would recommend them to everyone with a garden! Thank you so much.

First rate tree job in the back garden and the landscaping TreeStation also did on the front drive is much admired. Left everywhere neat and tidy too, Well done!

We regularly use Treestation now for firewood. Prompt free delivery, great wood competitively priced which is stacked for us and great service generally. We would recommend you to anyone. We have shares in your company anyway as you work in a sustainable way with a strong commitment to your local community and to the environment. A really interesting company. Thank you!

I’ve been ordering logs and kindling from TreeStation for a few years now. The quality and price are good, as are the eco credentials, so I keep coming back. What makes a big difference though is the helpful and friendly customer service from Hannah and her team. I’m a happy customer.

I am really pleased with the handmade log shed, it looks good in its final position – thankyou to the team.

TreeStation felled a MASSIVE tree in my garden - took a week to fell. They were very professional and neat and tidy, cleaning up after themselves every day. Even chopped up the wood I wanted to keep. thanks guys!

Very good service: Professional - they are efficient and knowledgeable. Environmentally oriented - waited until the birds had finished nesting before pruning the trees. Good prices. We will use them again.

Treestation removed 4 trees for me including a large sycamore. Everything was cleared up afterwards and I was very happy with the result. However, there was quite a bit of regrowth on the sycamore and it took a few phone calls and e-mails before they agreed to come back and re-treat the stump. The man who came out was very pleasant and efficient. Hopefully the second treatment will do the trick!

I have used TreeStation twice and was very impressed each time. They did a great job and the operatives were very friendly and courteous. They did a great job and cleared everything up when they had finished, grinding down the material which had been pruned. I like the idea that all of the waste is upcycled and not just dumped somewhere. I would definitely use them again.

Moved to a new house in the garden was a huge Willow tree needing some TLC. I called TreeStation and Paul arrived to offer his advice. Once the price was agreed, the team arrived pollarded the tree, cut down another one that was dying and removed the remains of an Apple tree. The work was efficient, courteous and was done with minimum disruption. The added bonus of the local community and ethical status of TreeStation means we have no hesitation in recommending them.

I came to you through a recommendation and have been very impressed with your efficiency, politeness and knowledge. You have done an excellent job for me and your ethical standards are another bonus. I will not be looking for anyone else to manage my trees in future and have already recommended you to others.

Treestation help us to maintain a large amount of trees which we have in our school grounds. Their service helps us to sustain a beautiful site in which to educate our children about the great outdoors.

I'm a shareholder in this fantastic co-op and just love them! They provide most of my timber for furniture making at a great price and I've used their treework team down at Rollins Wood. Go for your firewood, woodchip, all sorts of timber and a friendly welcome! Maz

We were really pleased with the excellent service we received from TreeStation. Paul came to review our vastly overgrown garden bushes the day after we asked for a quotation and we received a reasonable quote for the work the following day.  Bill & Danny arrived on time the next day and completed the work by late afternoon, leaving us with a transformed and tidy back garden – both were professional and courteous, working hard, safely, and with obvious knowledge about their work, leaving us very satisfied with the job they did.  Thanks!

Thank you for the excellent job done on my laurel trees: worth every penny because the thinning and trimming have been done sympathetically to the shape of the trees and my needs of the trees. You are all so tidy, I wouldn't have known you had been there except that I could see what a great job had been done.

Thank you, I am very happy with my tree now and you did a fantastic job, thank you, thank you, thank you!

I just wanted to say how impressed I have been - a beautiful skilful job, and lots of friendly people up the trees and in the office too! Many thanks.

Just to say thanks to the guys who pollarded the sycamore for me, they've done a great job and left everywhere really clean and tidy. They worked really hard, were fast and efficient and stacked up all the wood for me.

Just a little note to say that the lads you asked to do our job were an absolute credit to you! They worked like Trojans throughout the day despite the temperature. Polite, well mannered lads too! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

I was very pleased with the recent work TreeStation did for me. The guys who came were excellent, very pleasant to deal with, very careful, helpful, obviously very competent, did a wonderful job and left everything in very good order. I also greatly appreciated that you came to give the estimate when you said you would and that the work was done as planned and on time.

The work completed by Nick and his team was excellent and I have and will continue to recommend the professional job carried out at our property recently.

The TreeStation provides me with a lot of my timber for projects. They have a fantastic selection of hard and softwoods, and expertise to back it up. They help me to keep my environmental footprint small by buying local and avoiding importing.

I have found dealing with you and your company, a very good experience.  You and your technicians, have been very professional in all aspects and I will be updating the Which Local online page to reflect this.  Not to mention recommending you to any friends and colleagues.

Many thanks to the team for their professional work - I wouldn't hesitate to use your company again should any further works be required.

I engaged the team from Greater Manchester TreeStation to remove two very large poplars from my garden. From quotation to completion, the team were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, reliable, incredibly hard working and carried out the work to an exemplary standard. The site was left impeccably clean and tidy. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

TreeStation is a working tree yard based in Greater Manchester. They provide local timber from local arboriculture projects and as a Social Enterprise they have a strong ethical policy. Every bit of the wood gets used from sculptures, to planks for joinery, firewood for log burning stoves and wood chip for allotments or burning in industrial strength boilers. TreeStation are not for profit too being owned by the local community. A great place to go to get wood in any shape or form or advice if you need the odd bit of tree work!

The quotation we have just received from the TreeStation is very competitive, and we know from past experience that their tree surgery services are very professional and effective.

I can really recommend the TreeStation. I have been buying firewood from them for several years and am very happy with the service and the price. The TreeStation have a strong environmental ethos and when I buy wood from them or have treework done I can be certain that I am supporting a responsible and green business.

I can really recommend the TreeStation. I needed to have a dead tree taken down in my garden and TreeStation have done a fantastic job. They were quick and efficient, and importantly for me took great care not to damage my plants. They sawed the wood into fire lengths and neatly stacked it on my wood pile. TreeStation have a strong environmental ethos and when I buy wood from them or have tree work done I can be certain that I am supporting a responsible and green business.

The TreeStation have provided us with loads of gorgeous woodchip for our Learning & Demonstration Garden. The landscaping chip supplied has been excellent quality, delivered extremely efficiently and has made a real positive difference to the look and feel of our garden. We look forward to continuing to work with the TreeStation going forward.

I first spotted Treestation from the train and thought: what a great woodyard! Soon I was involved and I have bought well-seasoned local ash, elm, beech and sycamore for my furniture designs. I'm pleased to be using characterful timber that otherwise might go to waste - it fits my design philosophy of getting more from a tree in a sustainable way, minimising transport and fossil fuel use.

We're very pleased with the finished job and the guys were brilliant - very professional, courteous and looked after the property. We shall recommend you to any who need such work.

The Shake a Hula company makes hula hoops from natural materials at events and festivals. We use the TreeStation coppice wood to build our hoops: we have been able to discuss our requirements and we were supplied on time every time, which is critical for our events. We also bought kilned timber to build our festival tent structure and our steam box, which we were able to pick to our precise specifications. If you want something unusual rather than ‘off the shelf’ then the TreeStation is the place!

We are an event and festival company delivering wood related creative workshops to schools, community groups and festivals. To cover the wide variety of activities we offer to our clients, we use kiln dried wood, coppice wood, green wood, air dried wood, planked timber, and timber in the round supplied by the TreeStation. Nowhere else have we found all of this from one local sustainable source. We are very happy with the quality of the TreeStation’s products as well as their excellent customer service and flexibility.

After having our wood burner installed we had difficulty finding good quality dry wood. We were given the details of TreeStation by a local installer about 3 years ago and have used Phil and his team ever since. I have found them to be reliable, easy to deal with and competitively priced. I would recommend them.

I've been very pleased with the quality of your fuel over the past couple of years. Finding a reliable supplier was difficult at first, as some suppliers sent wood of uneven quality, but yours has been of excellent quality, reasonably priced and delivered on time. I look forward to my next delivery.

I wanted to thank your team for their excellent work today.  They were fast, efficient, highly skilled, tidy and very conscious of community / neighbours.  A very pleasant experience from the consultation stage through to completion of the project.

Ecos delivered an amazingly prompt and professional service. Ward & Wagster Tree Services will definitely be using them again. Ecos allowed us to concentrate on the finer details of our customers requirements. Without a doubt we would recommend using them.

The Ecos team did what they said, when they said they would and cleared up neatly too. Great communication, good work. Trees looking content despite a long overdue session of trimming and pruning; customer looking happy.

Every time we use Ecos they are efficient and know what they are doing. They have a love for trees and so always do their best to preserve where they can and offer good sound advice at all times. All the mess and debris is cleared away and they are very courteous too. I value their opinion as I have a lot of trees in my small garden and want to see them flourish. Ecos have helped sustain them well. Thank you Ecos - I would recommend them to everyone

We have had the pleasure in working with Phil Benn and Ecos over the last five years for tree work carried out on residential and commercial developments. We have always been impressed with their knowledge and professionalism, their attention to detail and commitment to Health and Safety best practice. The execution of their work on site has always been efficient, professional and of the highest order. They are our preferred contractor whom we have recommended in the past and will continue to.

Ecos have been helping us at Kagyu Ling Buddhist Centre to manage our small woodland. I have appreciated the personal service, and the care with which Phil and his crew take - they are attentive to the ecological balance of the woodland, and care about the effect of their work on the wildlife. Phil has been quick to respond to my emails/texts and has provided a valuable service for an economic price. The crew take safety seriously, and re-use (or leave for us to re-use) any waste products.

Thanks for providing the good quality wood, it is a pleasure to work with nice materials and deal with knowledgeable people who share my passion for trees and their qualities. I'll be back to see you soon.
