Because we are an ecologically-minded social enterprise we do not want to buy or sell over large distances where we can help it. Generally we will not deliver to more than 50 miles from our yard.
Firewood delivery costs
If you live within the M60 (or in a postcode straddling the M60), and you order a cubic metre of firewood or more, bagged or loose, then delivery is included in the price quoted. If you live further afield then there will be an extra charge for delivery, based on a cost of £30 (plus VAT) per hour driving time for the extra distance. When we call or email you to arrange delivery we will let you know what the extra charge is.
Other products delivery costs
If you live within the M60 (or in a postcode straddling the M60), and you order anything else for delivery, the flat rate charge is £24 plus VAT (£28.80). If you live further afield then there will be an extra charge for delivery on top of the £28.80, based on a cost of £30 (plus VAT) per hour driving time for the extra distance. When we call or email you to arrange delivery we will let you know what the extra charge is.
Combined orders
If you order a cubic metre of firewood and some other products, then the delivery cost will be the same as if you had just ordered firewood – i.e. free within the M60, etc.
Collection
To avoid the delivery charge, you are welcome to collect products from our yard by arrangement. We are not a retail site so we are not allowed to have people turning up without an appointment. Bear in mind that some products are not possible to collect without the right kind of equipment or vehicle.

Once you have placed your order we will ring or email you to take payment and arrange a convenient delivery time.
