We are dedicated to delivering high quality services and products in the safest possible way. But don’t just take our word for it – see our accreditations.
Greater Manchester TreeStation is an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor (since March 2014). The ARB Approved Contractor scheme offers a recognised benchmark for arboricultural contracting throughout the UK and Ireland, and is increasingly required by Local Authorities and other large commercial organisations. It is also of benefit in the domestic sector as a quality mark assuring the client of good quality tree care undertaken safely and efficiently.
We hold the TrustMark quality mark (since June 2014), which lets our clients know that we recruit reputable and trustworthy tradespersons. We are audited annually by TrustMark to ensure our processes, standards and complaint procedures are being maintained.
The Biomass Suppliers List provides RHI participants with a simple way to demonstrate that their fuel complies with RHI fuel sustainability standards. Both our biomass woodchip and our firewood are accredited to BSL standards, meaning they save well over 60% greenhouse gas emissions compared to fossil fuel.
We have always believed in paying our staff a fair wage, and we are accredited by the Living Wage Foundation as a Living Wage Employer (since 2015). This means we are committed to ensuring the minimum we pay our staff is the “Real Living Wage” – an independently-calculated figure based on what employees and their families need to live.
Since 2021, Greater Manchester TreeStation has been approved by Woodsure’s Ready To Burn scheme. This provides reassurance that our firewood has a moisture content below 20% and is ready for immediate use.
Note: these accreditations should be reconfirmed as still current before this page is published.
